I have
been producing artwork for as long as I can remember. At 4 years old,
my big brother sat me down in front of the fireplace and told me to
"draw what you see".
My
formal art education began in school and continued in college, working
in many mediums, oils, acrylics, airbrushing, watercolors, sculpture...
if it was creative I would try it. To support myself while going to
college, I worked in sign shops and art departments, learning real world
applications while enjoying the freedom of school assignments.
I also
volunteered and learned set design, editing, directing, and special
effects while working on films and video for the Unarius Educational
Foundation. I have won awards for my editing and special effects, (
E.B.E. Award ), book covers and posters.
I now
create digital images and special effects
for video, the web, and print media in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter,
and Bryce software programs. All of my video editing is done in Final
Cut Pro. Several of my video productions are seen on television stations
nationwide, and I submit projects to film festivals all over the world.
I consider
myself fortunate to be able to do what I love and make a living at it.
