In August 2002, Attention Getters was contracted to design and paint a mural for
the city of El Cajon, California. The downtown area of the city is going
through a complete revitalization, tearing down old dilapidated buildings
and restoring others that can be renovated to the standards that meet
the feeling and vision of the Community Development Corporation (CDC).
After meeting with the CDC, several ideas were discussed and concepts made
before deciding on the "Bird of Paradise".

wanted to add something of beauty to the city of El Cajon, something
with bright colors that will help with the upliftment of people's consciousness
